I feel behind all the time.
I feel lost.
I feel like I lost a year of my life.
Plans cancelled.
Progress slowed.
My to do list gets longer and and ta da list is stagnant.
I get anxious on days off because I don’t feel like I’m being productive.
I get anxious when all I do is work and then I see people relaxing and I feel exhausted.
I know a lot of people in my age group feel me on this.
I recently said “everyone’s measure of success is different.”
And yes, I believe that. I KNOW that.
But do I always remember that? No.
So here’s a couple reminders if you feel behind, anxious, lost, or any other synonym:
• everyone’s measure of success is different
• other people are feeling this, it’s not just you
• it’s okay to unfollow accounts, groups, anything that causes you unnecessary stress or jealous thoughts
• don’t give up
